Crocheted Mason Jar Coozie Pattern | Periodically Creative

Stitches, Yarn & Hook

This pattern uses an H (5 mm) hook and is worked in the round with a medium weight yarn (I used Loops & Threads Impeccable). Stitches used include:

single crochet (sc)
- including single post stitches
single crochet decrease (sc dec)
slip stitch (sl st)
puff stitch (puff)
- insert hook, pull up loop
- yarn over, insert hook, pull up loop
- yarn over, insert hook, pull up loop
- yarn over, insert hook, pull up loop
- yarn over, pull through all 8 loops
- chain 1
- skip next stitch

7 sc into magic ring or slip knot (7 sc):

2 sc in each stitch around (14 sc):

This crocheted mason jar coozie pattern works up quickly and would make a great gift for an iced coffee lover. I use mine to keep condensation from puddling on my desk, as well as to keep jars from clanking together when we go camping. The puff stitches also add some grip to slippery glass.
